3 out of 5 stars Nice Jack ... but part missing   August 10, 2007

For the price, its a nice jack. However, the bolt that connects the two tubes that make up the handle was missing. Since the thing is made in China the bolt is metric and offsize .. its an M6 1.25 and not available at Home Depot or Lowes .. I know .. I went to both. I called Jack's Tool Shed and they said they would send me a replacement bolt. They sent me two bolts .. both wrong sizes and too short to boot. I went out and bought an SAE bolt and nut and drilled out the metric thread and bolted the handles pieces together. Least thing Jack's Tool Shed could have done is send me the right bolt ... they are a tool company, right? By the way, the package arrived busted up, torn up and messed up .. luckily its a jack ...
